Dr.-Ing. Heinrich Hiesinger

Dr. Heinrich Hiesinger is an experienced German industrial manager and has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ZF Friedrichshafen AG since January 1, 2022. Previously, he was Chairman of the Board of Management of thyssenkrupp AG from 2011 to 2018.

Hiesinger began his career at Siemens, where he held various management positions from 1992 and took over as Head of the Siemens Industry Sector in 2008. In 2011, he moved to thyssenkrupp, where he played a key role in the realignment of the Group. After leaving thyssenkrupp, he took on supervisory board mandates at several companies, including BMW AG and Deutsche Post DHL Group.

Dr. Hiesinger studied electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich, where he received his doctorate in 1991. As Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ZF Friedrichshafen AG, he uses his extensive experience to strengthen the strategic direction of the company.
