Dr.-Ing. e. h. Heinrich Weiss

Dr.-Ing. e. h. Heinrich Weiss joined Siemag Transplan GmbH as Managing Director in 1968 after completing his business management training and engineering studies (Dipl.-Ing.). After becoming Chairman of the Management Board of Siemag Siegener Maschinenbau GmbH in 1971, he took over as Chairman of the Management Board of SMS GmbH on July 1, 1974. In addition to his function as Chairman of the Management Board of SMS GmbH, Dr.-Ing. e. h. Heinrich Weiss was active in various committees of the German economy. He is currently a member of several supervisory and administrative boards, Chairman of the Foreign Trade Advisory Board to the Federal Minister of Economics and Labor, a board member of the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business and a board member of the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations.
