Dr. Hans Jürgen Kracht, CEO and Managing Partner of the WOCO Group, headquartered in in Bad Soden-Salmünster, spoke on the subject of "Collaborative engineering is revolutionizing the automotive industry".
As a family-owned company with headquarters in Bad Soden-Salmünster and a number of plants, production facilities and partners in Europe, the NAFTA states and Asia, Woco generated sales of € 555 million in 2014 with 4150 employees. In the automotive sector, the Woco Group focuses on its core product areas of acoustics, actuators and polymer technology. Woco products improve the acoustic comfort and safety of automobiles and thus contribute to environmental relief by reducing noise and fuel consumption. In the industrial sector, the Woco Group focuses on innovative solutions for use in industrial anti-vibration systems, measurement and control systems and piping systems. In the industrial sector, Woco products increase the performance and operational safety of machines and systems. They are used to reduce vibrations and to seal and separate gaseous and liquid media.
From 1986 - 1999 he worked Dr. Hans Jürgen Kracht (53) held various positions in the Benteler Group. Among other things, he took over worldwide responsibility for various OEMs and the Tier 1 sector as Sales Director after a 3-year stay in France. From 1999 to 2002, Dr. Kracht initially managed two plants of the ITW conglomerate as General Manager and later took over two further plants in France. From 2003 - 2010, Dr. Kracht was Executive Vice President Magna Seating Europe, responsible for Europe as well as for the development in South America. Since 2010, Dr. Kracht has been responsible for the Woco Group as CEO.
