Dipl.-Ing. Stefan Dräger

Dipl. Ing. Stefan Dräger, Chairman of the Executive Board, Drägerwerk Verwaltungs AG, Lübeck explains in his presentation "Effective use of resources in the environment of a customer-supplier relationship" how growth can be generated in Germany through the targeted structuring of customer-supplier relationships.

Stefan Dräger, a graduate in electrical engineering, started out as a consultant engineer for process control technology. In 1992, he joined Dräger, where he held various positions. From 1993 to 1995, Stefan Dräger was responsible for the development of gas detection systems sales at National Dräger in Pittsburgh, USA. He then became Head of Product Management Gas Detection Systems at Dräger Sicherheitstechnik in Lübeck. From 1999 to 2002, he was Head of the Intensive Care Division at Dräger Medizintechnik. Since January 2003, Mr. Dräger has been a member of the Executive Board of Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA and since mid-2005 he has held the position of Chairman of the Executive Board in the 5th family generation.

In his contribution to the 19th Munich Management Colloquium, Mr. Dräger will discuss how the effective use of resources in a customer-supplier relationship can act as a growth driver for a medical and safety technology company. He will present selected concepts and experiences of how Drägerwerk AG has achieved significant growth in recent years.
