Mr. Wilhelm Rehm, Member of the Board of Management of ZF Friedrichshafen AG, spoke on the subject "Actively shaping a global supply chain in turbulent times".
ZF is a leading global technology group in driveline and chassis technology with 122 production companies in 26 countries. In addition, there are 33 service companies and 650 service partners. This enables ZF to offer all customers worldwide a dense network of competent contact partners in close proximity. The company was founded in 1915 for the development and production of transmissions for airships and vehicles. Today, the product range includes transmissions and steering systems as well as chassis components and complete axle systems and modules. With more than 72,000 employees, the Group generated sales of around 16.8 billion euros in 2013. ZF Friedrichshafen AG is one of the ten largest automotive suppliers in the world.
Mr. Wilhelm Rehm is a member of the Board of Management of ZF Friedrichshafen AG. The mechanical engineering graduate has been responsible for Materials Management and Industrial Technology at ZF since 2012. After studying mechanical engineering, Wilhelm Rehm began his career as an assistant to the management at Lokoma GmbH. In 1984, he joined the AGCO/Fendt Group, one of the world's largest manufacturers and suppliers of tractors and agricultural machinery, as head of the assembly department. Wilhelm Rehm worked there for 19 years and held management positions at several locations. Between 1997 and 2003, he was Managing Director responsible for production, materials management and human resources. In May 2003, he followed the call to Passau, where he was responsible for production and materials management at ZF Passau GmbH. In mid-2010, Wilhelm Rehm took over as Chairman of the Board of Management of ZF Passau GmbH.
