E.ON Energie is a multinational company with decentralized structures that do justice to the regional differences in the European energy market. E.ON Energie AG's focus is on the countries of Central Europe, especially where we can cooperate in the electricity industry through neighboring grids. In addition to Germany, the main focus regions are Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary as well as the Benelux countries, Austria and Switzerland. In Germany, the market presence is visible from the Danish border to the south of Bavaria through seven independently operating regional supply companies with their customer-oriented energy services. The customer group ranges from medium-sized companies to listed international corporations.

Dipl.-Ing. Bernhard Fischer began his professional career at PreussenElektra AG/ E.ON Kraftwerke GmbH in Hanover after studying mechanical engineering at the University of Hanover. From 1982 to 2002, he held management positions in the area of power plant operation and construction and eventually became a member of the management board of E.ON Kraftwerke GmbH in Hanover. Since 2002, Dipl.-Ing. Bernhard Fischer has been responsible for the management of the "Energy Industry Optimization" division at E.ON Energie AG in Munich and was appointed to the Board of Management of E.ON Energie AG in 2005.
