Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Anton Klaus Kathrein, Managing Partner of KATHREIN-Werke KG, Rosenheim, spoke on the topic of "Diversity and modularization - guarantors of sustainable competitiveness at Kathrein".

Founded in 1919, KATHREIN-Werke KG is a leading high-tech company in the communications technology sector. The internationally active company is characterized as the world's oldest and largest antenna manufacturer, offering a wide range of products. The current product areas include mobile radio antenna systems, satellite reception and antenna systems as well as terrestrial reception antennas, transmission and reception antennas for radio, analog and digital television, broadband communication systems, radio antennas and reception systems for mobile use, car antennas and automotive electronics as well as RFID systems. The Kathrein Group consists of 62 legally independent subsidiaries and associated companies, which make up the worldwide sales and production infrastructure. This makes Kathrein a global player in its industry. However, the heart of the company is located south of Munich, in Rosenheim. In total, the Kathrein Group employs more than 6,800 people, who contributed to the company's turnover of EUR 1,334 million in 2012.
