Christian Wendler

Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Christian Wendler has been a member of the Executive Board of the international Lenze Group since 2013. Since 2014, as Chairman of the Executive Board, he has been responsible in particular for the strategic direction and thus the further growth and internationalization of the company. The basis for this is the corporate strategy 2020+, which is anchored along the three main pillars of the Lenze business model: mechatronics, automation systems and solutions, and digital services.

Christian Wendler has many years of international experience in the drives and automation sector. Prior to his appointment to the Lenze Executive Board, he held various management positions at ABB, most recently as Chief Marketing and Sales Officer of ABB's global Industrial Automation and Drives Division and from 2004 to 2010 as Chairman of the Management Board of ABB Automation Products GmbH in Germany. Christian Wendler began his career at Baumüller, where he held various positions, most recently as Managing Director of Baumüller America, Inc. in the USA.

Christian Wendler was born in 1962 and graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.
