Christian Leicher

Christian Leicherborn in 1969, has been a managing partner at Rohde & Schwarz since 2005 and Chairman of the Management Board (CEO) since July 2016.

After studying electrical engineering and postgraduate studies in economics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Christian Leicher began his career in the telecommunications industry.

From 1997 to 2004, he worked in various functions for the Ericsson Group in Germany, China, Sweden and the USA. Most recently, he joined Sony Ericsson in 2003, where he was responsible for the EMEA region as Head of Sales Operations. In 2005, Christian Leicher joined the Rohde & Schwarz Group as Managing Director. He initially assumed responsibility for Marketing & Sales, Finance and IT.
