Mrs. Carolina Müller-Möhl, political scientist, founded the Müller-Möhl Group in 2000, a family-owned holding company that acts as an active investment management service provider for the family. Its investments include both financial and strategic holdings. The Group pursues a long-term investment strategy based on diversification. As a result, the value of the portfolio increased significantly even during the global crises of 2001 (internet bubble) and 2008 (financial crisis). From 2004 to 2012, Carolina Müller-Möhl was a member of the Board of Directors of Nestlé S.A and from 2006 to 2008 a member of the Board of Directors of Kühne Holding AG. Today, she is a member of the boards of directors and supervisory boards of Orascom, Neue Züricher Zeitung and Fielmann AG.

In 2012, the investor and philanthropist established the Müller-Möhl Foundation, which she has chaired ever since. Through this foundation, Carolina Müller-Möhl bundles her socio-political commitment in the areas of "education", "work-life balance" and the "promotion of Switzerland as a business location and philanthropy in general" under one roof. In this context, she is involved in over a dozen foundations and advisory boards. She is also jury president of the "Swiss Economic Award", an important prize for young entrepreneurs in Switzerland.
