biography
The vbw is the voluntary, cross-industry interest group of the Bavarian economy. It represents around 80 Bavarian employers' and trade associations as well as over 30 individual companies. The vbw's guiding principles are the competitiveness of companies and the socio-political responsibility of the economy.
After studying law, Mr. Bertram Brossard worked for many years in leading positions in the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport and Technology. In 2005, Mr. Brossard took over the management of the vbw, BayME and VBM associations.
In addition to his role as Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Bertram Brossard is a member of the Supervisory Board of Südfleisch Holding AG and also a member of the Administrative Board of the Federal Employment Agency.
