Bernhard Osburg

Bernhard Osburg has been Chairman of the Executive Board of thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG since October 1, 2021. Prior to that, he was Spokesman of the Executive Board of thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG since March 1, 2020. He has been a member of the Executive Board of thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG since July 2019 and was responsible for Sales and Innovation, among other things.

Bernhard Osburg has worked for thyssenkrupp Steel Europe since 2014. Before joining the Executive Board, he was Head of Sales Management, having previously been responsible for the Automotive business unit.

He began his professional career in 1996 at Johnson Controls Interior GmbH. After working as a management consultant at ROI Management Consulting AG in Munich from 1998 to 2000, he joined the thyssenkrupp Group in 2000, where he held various positions in sales and technology. From 2009 to 2011, he was Managing Director Sales and Technology at thyssenkrupp Umformtechnik GmbH. Between 2011 and 2014, Bernhard Osburg was a member of the Executive Board of Gestamp Automocion before returning to thyssenkrupp in 2014.

Bernhard Osburg, born in 1968, studied mechanical engineering at the universities of Duisburg and Düsseldorf.
