biography
Andreas Irngartinger, born on October 9, 1973 in Graz (Austria), is married and currently serves as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and Spokesperson of the Executive Board at DEGES GmbH in Berlin.
He began his academic career in October 1993 at the Technical University of Darmstadt, where he studied Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering, geotechnics, and statics. He graduated in March 1999 with a degree in Civil Engineering (Graduate engineer).
Following his studies, Andreas Irngartinger joined the Deutsche Bahn Group, where he held various roles between May 1999 and August 2007. His responsibilities included work as a construction supervisor with operational and safety oversight, assistant to the board for network management, project manager for bridge construction at Berlin Central Station, and project leader for multiple strategic initiatives, including the "Prignitz Network Projects" and the comprehensive "Rostock - Berlin Line Upgrade".
In September 2007, he moved to DEGES GmbH, where he took on leadership roles in major infrastructure projects. From June 2010, he led departments overseeing projects in various federal states and locations. In July 2018, he assumed responsibility for digital planning and construction as well as the digital transformation of the organization. From June 2022 to June 2023, he also managed Berlin-based projects. Since June 2023, Andreas Irngartinger has held the position of Chief Digital Officerauthorized signatory (Authorized signatory), and Head of Digitalization and IT. In January 2025he was appointed Technical Managing Director and Spokesperson of the Executive Board at DEGES.
