Alexander Vollert

Alexander is Senior Advisor to the Group Management Committee at AXA. He served as AXA Group COO and CEO of AXA Group Operations from December 2021 to December 2025, driving the Group’s global technology, data/AI, and operations strategy and execution at global scale. He joined AXA in September 2016 as CEO of AXA Germany, leading a fundamental digital transformation.

Prioir to AXA, Alexander spent over seven years at Allianz Deutschland AG in senior leadership roles, advancing from Head of Business Organisation to COO for Life, Health, and P&C, and ultimately CEO of the German P&C business (Allianz Versicherungs-AG). Earlier, he worked for nine years at McKinsey & Company, advising clients across multiple markets on insurance strategy and large-scale transformations.

Alexander holds a master’s degree and a doctorate in industrial engineering and management science from the University of Karlsruhe. He has also served on several supervisory boards.
