Mr. Alexander Mettenheimer, personally liable partner and spokesman of the managing directors of MERCK FINK & CO, will speak at this year's Management Colloquium on the topic of "Valuations of the stock market from the investor's perspective".

Mr. Mettenheimer, born in 1952, is a fully qualified lawyer and studied in Frankfurt, Bonn and Modena. After completing his legal studies, he joined Citibank AG, where he initially worked in the trade finance, derivatives and securities business in London. This was followed by various positions in Germany, Great Britain and Latin America. He held various positions, most recently as a member of the Management Board and Spokesman of the Management Board at Citibank Privatkunden AG, Germany. Since October 2001, Mr. Mettenheimer has been Spokesman of the Executive Board and personally liable partner at Merck Finck & Co, responsible for the Financial Markets division as well as the Research, Legal, Communications, Auditing and Central Administration departments.
