Agnes Heftberger

Agnes Heftberger has been Corporate Vice President and Chairwoman of the Management Board of Microsoft Germany since April 2024.

 Before joining Microsoft, Agnes Heftberger worked for IBM for more than 20 years. She held various management positions there. Most recently, she managed IBM's business in Australia, Southeast Asia, Korea and New Zealand. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Sales for Germany, Austria and Switzerland and a member of the Management Board of IBM Germany.

Agnes Heftberger consistently focuses on innovation and customer orientation in her work - and thus promotes sustainable and inclusive growth as an experienced manager in the technology industry. Her global perspective and experience provide important impetus at a time when artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the innovation and production process in many industries in Germany.

Austrian-born Heftberger holds a Master's degree in International Business from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
