Helmut Ahr

Helmut Ahr has served on the Executive Board of the international management consultancy Horváth since 2012 and was appointed CEO in April 2022. As CEO of the leading consultancy for improving business performance, he oversees the Controlling & Finance and Technology & AI consulting divisions. He also leads the firm’s Marketing, Communications & Sales service unit.

A graduate of Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg with a degree in Business Administration, Ahr began his career in a series of management roles within the CFO organization of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg. He joined Horváth in 2000 and subsequently led the firm’s Financial Industries sector before being appointed to the Executive Board.
