David Faller

Kurzbiografie

As IBM Vice President Development and Managing Director of the IBM Germany Research & Development GmbH, David Faller leads one of the key IBM Global Labs, which develop a variety of IBM technologies such as IBM Servers and Storage, related Operating Systems, Cloud, Data & AI as well as solutions for the Internet of Things. The most recent addition to the project portfolio are contributions to IBMs Quantum Computing technology roadmap.

David joined IBM in 2000 as a Software Engineer for the WebSphere development group of the very same lab he is leading now.

He held several management positions in IBM’s Lab Services and Technical Sales organizations, leading teams of IT specialists and IT architects in customer pre and post sales projects.

In 2012 David joined Informatica LLC for three years as the European Director for Service Delivery of PIM Solutions, before returning to IBM in DACH as the Technical Sales Leader for Hybrid Cloud and later on for Technology.

He was promoted into his recent role in January 2022.

David Faller received a Diploma of Information Technology from the University of Cooperative Education in Stuttgart, Germany.
