Winfried Blecking

Winfried Blecking, Chairman of the Management Board, Sparda-Bank Hannover eGspoke in his presentation "Transformation of globalization know-how into banking operations" about ways and strategies for a traditional commercial bank to meet the challenges of globalization.

Winfried Blecking completed his training as a graduate in administrative management at Deutsche Bahn AG and worked in various areas of the Group. Mr. Blecking has worked for the Sparda Group in various divisions since 1986. As an authorized signatory, he took on a managerial role in the bank in 1997. He was appointed to the Management Board in 1998 and was responsible for corporate management, production and organization. Mr. Blecking has been Chairman of the Management Board of Sparda Bank Hannover eG since 2009. He is primarily responsible for Human Resources and Communication, Organization, Accounting and Internal Audit.

In his contribution to the 18th Munich Management Colloquium, Winfried Blecking will discuss the tasks facing commercial banks in the course of the globalization of the banking and financial services sector. Using the example of Sparda-Bank Hannover, strategies for the transformation of globalization know-how will be presented and discussed with the participants. Concepts and experiences will be presented on how Sparda-Bank Hannover eG is positioning itself in global competition.
