Since its foundation in 1987 Ulrich Dietz and is now leading the company into the future as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of GFT Technologies SE. Ulrich Dietz studied mechanical engineering and product engineering and graduated in 1984 with a degree in engineering. The enthusiastic art lover is also co-founder of the Transfer Center for Information Technology (TZI) of the Steinbeis Foundation for Business Development, initiator of the global innovation platform CODE_n and was named Entrepreneur of the Year by EY in 2011. In addition to his role as GFT CEO, Ulrich Dietz also holds committee positions at national level. In 2013, he was elected Vice President of the German Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media (BITKOM). Here, he is particularly committed to promoting and expanding international relations in the German ICT sector. He is also a member of the "Digital Economy in Germany" working group of the German government's National IT Summit. As part of this work, Ulrich Dietz is committed to strengthening Germany as a location for innovation and entrepreneurship in the ICT sector. Ulrich Dietz regularly gives lectures and guest lectures at German universities.
