Thomas Birr is Head of Strategy, Sustainability and Innovation at E.ON SE. Since 2019, he has been responsible for the strategic direction of the Group and drives the development of sustainable and innovative solutions.
With a degree in mechanical engineering from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, he began his career at Mannesmann KTI GmbH before holding various management positions at VEW AG, RWE and innogy SE. During his time at innogy, he was head of innovation and business transformation and gained extensive experience in corporate development and strategic change.
