Stephan Seifert

Stephan Seifert, Managing Director Finance & Controlling at Körber PaperLink GmbH in Hamburgspoke in his presentation "Leading globally operating SMEs through an adaptive strategic management holding" about the strategy for promoting and demanding entrepreneurship and value orientation in a group of internationally operating companies specializing in mechanical engineering and services for the paper and tissue converting industry.

Mr. Stephan Seifert has been Managing Director at Körber PaperLink GmbH since 2007. He is responsible for Controlling & Finance, Purchasing, Risk Management, Business Support/Inhouse Consulting and Administration (Human Resources, IT, Legal). Before joining Körber, Mr. Seifert worked for the GEA Group in various functions from 2000-2007. After one year in the internal consulting department of GEA in Bochum, Mr. Seifert first worked as commercial manager and from 2004 as commercial managing director of Westfalia Separator Mineraloil Systems GmbH in Oelde. Prior to that, he worked for the auditing and management consultancy Arthur Andersen in Düsseldorf as an audit and project manager. Mr. Seifert studied business administration at the University of Duisburg and holds an MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

In his contribution to the 16th Munich Management Colloquium, Stephan Seifert will discuss how entrepreneurship in globally operating SMEs is managed from the perspective of a management holding company. Körber PaperLink GmbH, based in Hamburg, is the strategic management holding company for the paper division of the international Körber Group. Körber PaperLink GmbH unites under one roof a portfolio of internationally operating companies specializing in mechanical engineering and services for the paper and tissue processing industry.
