Stephan Gemkow

Mr. Stephan Gemkow, Chairman of the Management Board of Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH, language on the subject "Corporate governance in the VUCA world".

Mr. Stephan Gemkow has been Chairman of Haniel's Management Board and Labour Director since 1 August 2012. In addition to overall strategy, he is responsible for corporate development/M&A, human resources, legal, auditing, shareholders and communications. After his first professional years as a management consultant for BDO Deutsche Warentreuhand AG, the business graduate has worked in various management positions in the Lufthansa Group since 1990, most recently for six years as a member of the Management Board for Finance and, since 2009, also for Aviation Services. Gemkow is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TAKKT AG and a member of the Board of Directors of Flughafen Zürich AG, the Board of Directors of JetBlue Airways Corporation, New York and the Board of Directors of Amadeus IT Group SA, Madrid.
