Rolf Najork took over as CEO of Bosch Rexroth AG with responsibility for development on February 1, 2016. In this role, he is driving forward the electronification of all drive technologies for connected solutions in mobile and industrial applications. Another focus is the implementation of the global growth strategy. Previously, as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, he was responsible for production, purchasing and development at Heraeus Holding GmbH in Hanau.
Rolf Najork studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and began his career at Ford Werke AG after graduating in 1991. In 2003, he was appointed Managing Director Development at Getrag Ford Transmissions GmbH, a joint venture between the transmission manufacturer and the Ford Motor Company. Five years later, he took over responsibility for product development at the Getrag Corporate Group and moved to the Schaeffler Group in 2011. There, as a member of the Automotive Executive Board, he headed the E-Mobility, Mechatronics and Transmission Development divisions. In 2013, he joined the management board of the Heraeus technology group.
