As part of the panel discussion, Prof. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Gerd Finkbeiner will speak on the topic "Different capital owners and value enhancement a problem?".

 

MAN Roland Druckmaschinen AG is the world's second largest manufacturer of printing systems and the global market leader in web offset. The company, with its main sites in Offenbach, Augsburg and Plauen, employs almost 9,000 people. In 2005, the company achieved sales of EUR 1.7 billion, with exports accounting for 83%. Web and sheet-fed offset presses as well as digital printing systems provide solutions for advertising, publishing and packaging printing - from small-format sheet-fed presses to systems for newspaper printing in runs of millions.

Prof. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Gerd Finkbeinerborn in 1957, began his professional career as a project engineer at Eurografica Exportförderungs-GmbH, Munich, in 1982 after completing his studies. This was followed by positions as Managing Director of Eurografica Munich and Vice President of Intergrafica/Print & Pack. In August 1992 he joined MAN Roland in Augsburg as Head of Sales and Service and from May 1995 was a member of the Management Board with responsibility for web presses. He has been Chairman of the Executive Board of MAN Roland Druckmaschinen AG since July 1999. From 2000 to 2006 he was a member of the Executive Board of MAN Aktiengesellschaft.

In May 2000, he was appointed honorary professor at the Stuttgart Media University.
