Prof. Dr. Rolf Bühner

biography
Bühner studied business administration at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich until 1970 and then worked as a research assistant to Prof. Dr. Friedrich Hoffmann at the University of Augsburg. In 1978, he received his doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) and habilitated at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences there. After spending time abroad and holding a professorship, he was appointed to the Chair of Business Administration with a focus on organization and human resources at the University of Passau in 1980. He has remained loyal to this position despite several calls from other leading universities. He retired in the summer semester of 2010.

A special feature of the chair is the certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001, which was awarded in 1996 but not renewed
