Maria Ferraro

Maria Ferraro was appointed Member of the Managing Board and Chief Financial Officer of Siemens Energy AG and Member of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer of Siemens Energy Management GmbH effective May 1, 2020. Prior to her appointment, she held various management positions within Siemens Corporate Finance, including in the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany and the United States.

Most recently, Maria Ferraro was responsible for the Siemens Operating Company Digital Industries as Chief Financial Officer. She also held the position of Chief Diversity Officer at Siemens AG.

Maria Ferraro was born and raised in Canada. She also trained as a financial auditor in Canada. She started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Nortel Networks, where she gained in-depth knowledge of the European and Asian markets, both in Canada and internationally.
