Dr. Klaus Weigel

Mr. Klaus Weigel has been Of-Counsel of Board Experts GmbH since the beginning of 2023 and was Managing Partner from 2006 - 2022. Board Xperts GmbH specializes in the placement of supervisory and advisory boards for capital market and family-owned companies as well as portfolio companies of financial investors.

He previously worked for two German credit institutions for over 25 years, advising and supporting companies from the larger German SME sector in particular on all issues relating to raising equity capital (IPO, M&A advice, equity capital). From this time, he has many years of experience as a member of supervisory and advisory boards.

From 2013 to mid-2022, Dr. Weigel was also a board member of the association "Aufsichtsräte Mittelstand in Deutschland e.V." (ArMiD), which he co-founded. He is also a member of the "Family Businesses" advisory board of the German Economic Council.
