Kai Horten

Kai Horten began his career in 1989 as an aircraft engineering officer, initially in flight operations for naval helicopters, later in an international armaments cooperation in France.

After switching from the German Armed Forces (Corvette Captain in the Reserve) to industry, Kai Horten worked as Head of Department in the multinational TIGER program at Eurocopter and as Head of the Defence Board Office at EADS/Airbus. These positions were essential steps in preparation for the comprehensive responsibility as Managing Director of Atlas-Elektronik, CEO of Premium AEROTEC and CEO of ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik GmbH.

Profitable growth, global sales, mergers & acquisitions and the active shaping of technological upheavals were key milestones. The decisive factor for entrepreneurial success has always been an eye for the right team - and the people in it.

Consequently, Kai Horten chose to move into recruitment consulting in 2020, where he draws his knowledge from 14 years of operational experience as a managing director and CEO. It is therefore easy for him to adopt the entrepreneur's perspective and understand the specific requirements of the candidates he is looking for.
