Holger Raithel, Managing Partner of KAHLA / Thüringen Porzellan GmbHspoke at the 19th Munich Management Colloquium on the topic of "Resource efficiency: learning from family businesses - visions for the future".

Holger Raithel graduated in physics from the University of Bayreuth in 1998. Holger Raithel began his professional career in 1998 at Accenture Management Consulting in the field of automotive and supply chain management. This was followed by a position as Process Designer & Application Architect for production processes at an automobile manufacturer in France. In 2000, he worked as a project manager for a service company in the logistics sector. In 2001, Mr. Holger Raithel managed all consulting projects for a German automobile manufacturer. In 2004, Mr. Raithel joined KAHLA / Thüringen Porzellan GmbH. Until 2005 he worked as assistant to the management. He has been a managing partner of KAHLA / Thüringen Porzellan GmbH since April 1, 2005.

In his contribution to the 19th Munich Management Colloquium, Mr. Raithel will present the topic of creative resource efficiency using the example of KAHLA / Thüringen Porzellan GmbH. The company has made a name for itself worldwide with innovative porcelain concepts for modern people. In the family-owned company, 300 employees work on the success of porcelain. Special emphasis is placed on design and state-of-the-art technologies. The business areas include household porcelain, hotel porcelain and artvertising.
