Hauke Stars

Hauke Stars has been responsible for IT and Digitalization as a member of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG since February 2022.

Stars began her career in the early 1990s in the IT department at Bertelsmann. In 1998, she moved to the IT service provider Triaton. There she was responsible for software development and, from 2000, as a member of the management board for sales and marketing. After the takeover by Hewlett-Packard, Stars was responsible for HP's IT service business in the Netherlands until she became Managing Director of the Swiss country organization in 2007.

From 2012 - 2020, Stars was a member of the Executive Board of DAX-listed Deutsche Börse AG, where she was responsible for IT, capital market business and human resources. The technology and financial market expert has also been an active member of the Supervisory Board since 2009.

Hauke Stars studied Applied Computer Science at the Technical University in Magdeburg and completed further studies in England with a Master of Science in Engineering.
