"Innovation for profitable growth"
Â
Innovation is a lifeblood of immense importance for a highly industrialized location like Germany, which cannot live on raw materials. Anyone seeking profitable growth despite a weak economy and subdued consumption would be well advised to invest in research and development in order to attract the attention of the market with new concepts.
Â
Â
"Attractiveness of innovations"
Â
Innovations have an attractive effect - not only on customers, but also on the competition. As a result, we see outstanding innovations gradually becoming standard in the premium segment as a whole. And after some time has passed, our technologies are also being used by volume manufacturers. There can be no better compliment for an innovative company than to be copied!
Â
Â
"Commitment to Germany as a business location"
Â
Three quarters of our approximately 100,000 employees work in Germany. We make three quarters of our investments in this country. But today we sell more than three quarters of our vehicles abroad. We are constantly proving anew that economic success is still possible at this location. That's why we built our latest plant in Leipzig! There we have brought many people out of unemployment and turned them into highly qualified and highly motivated employees. The BMW Group has invested 1.3 billion euros in Leipzig.
