Gerhard Berssenbrügge

Gerhard Berssenbrügge is Chairman of the Executive Board of Nestlé Deutschland AG.

Gerhard Berssenbrügge studied business administration at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster until 1979. Immediately afterwards, he worked as Marketing Manager at Sales Director Jacobs, which was later renamed Jacobs Suchard. In 1993, he took over the position of Managing Director at Kraft Jacobs Suchard in Bremen. In 1997 he moved to Nestlé UK in London as Managing Director Grocery and in 2001 became CEO of Nestlé Nespresso S. A. in Lausanne, Switzerland. Since 2007 he has been Chairman of the Executive Board of Nestlé Deutschland AG in Frankfurt am Main.
