Flora Geske

Flora Geske founded a company in the field of digital accessibility immediately after graduating from the Technical University of Munich: The tech start-up SUMM, where she and her team are working on the mission of making the world understandable for everyone. At SUMM, Flora Geske takes on the role of CEO and is responsible for the strategic direction of the start-up, partnerships and communication. In the beginning, she also played a key role in the technical development of AI. After completing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at the University of Passau, she obtained a Master's degree in Business Informatics and Finance at the Technical University of Munich and conducted research in the field of AI, including at the University of Toronto. In a joint research project with her future co-founder Vanessa Theel, she learned about the potential of AI and the very recent technical advances in AI-supported natural language processing. With the desire to use this technology in a socially relevant, positive context, she took up the topic of easy language from her family circle and has been committed to participation with her company ever since.
