Dr. Ralf Speth

Dr. Ralf Speth, CEO of Jaguar Land Roverspoke about the importance of technology as a differentiating factor in the high-price sector in his presentation "Technology and brand - the significance of cutting-edge technologies for premium suppliers in the global automotive market".

Dr. Ralf Speth has been CEO of Jaguar Land Rover since February 18, 2010. Born in Roth on September 9, 1955, he studied engineering in Rosenheim and then worked for several years as a management consultant. In 1980, Dr. Speth moved to BMW, where he joined the Premier Automotive Group of the Ford Motor Company after 20 years. There he took on the role of Director of Production, Quality and Product Planning. At the same time, he obtained a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from Warwick University.

In his contribution to the 18th Munich Management Colloquium, Dr. Speth will explain how sustainable competitive advantages can be secured through a targeted combination of innovative edge and image.
