Dr. Ralf Belusa is an international manager, supervisory board member & board advisor with experience in a wide range of industries - from medical and pharmaceuticals to logistics, consumer goods and space technologies.
He is Chief Digital Officer and Managing Director at Hapag-Lloyd AG, as well as a member of the Supervisory Board of PHOENIX Pharma SE.
Dr. Ralf Belusa (48) has a track record of operationally building highly profitable global businesses with multi-billion USD product and service revenues by merging modern technologies with new agile ways of working, building high-performance global transformation teams implementing disruptive IT, AI, marketing innovation and sales strategies in 144 countries.
As an experienced and certified supervisory board member, he drives forward topics such as modern business strategy, IT, sales, marketing, AI, digital, security and transformations, as well as sustainable and highly scalable implementations, in addition to the classic monitoring function. Originally trained as a scientist, he has since completed further studies in the fields of micro- and nanotechnology, astrophysics, as well as a PhD in medical cell research. Ralf started programming software at the age of six and founded his first technology company at the age of 16.
