Dr. Mohsen Sohi, Spokesman of the Board of Management of Freudenberg SE, spoke on the topic "Freudenberg 2050: Our approach to identifying future requirements".

After studying mechanical engineering Dr. Mohsen Sohi In 1986, he began his career as a senior engineer at Allied Signal in Phoenix and received his doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis in 1989. In 1993, he was promoted to Chief Engineer for Aerospace Material and Process Development. In 1995, he moved to Detroit as Director of Global Automotive Product Development. Finally, in 1997, he was promoted to Vice President and General Manager for Turbocharger Systems in Torrance. After receiving his MBA from the Wharton School of Management in 1998, he became President of Commercial Vehicle Systems at Honeywell in Cleveland in 1999. From 2000, he was President of Honeywell Electronic Materials in Sunnyvale. After a stint as Senior Vice President at NCR Corporation and as President of NCR Store Automation in Atlanta in 2001, he joined Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership in Plymouth in 2003. There he served as President and CEO until 2010, when he was appointed to the Management Board of Freudenberg & Co. KG in Weinheim, Germany, in 2010. Since 2012, Dr. Sohi has been Spokesman of the Board of Management of Freudenberg SE and at the same time Spokesman of the Board of Management of Freudenberg & Co. KG. He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Steris plc, Leicester, and holds various foundation mandates. He is Chairman of the Partners' Meeting of the Freudenberg Foundation in Weinheim, a trustee of the Heidelberg University Foundation and a personal member of the Board of the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft in Essen.
