Dr. Frank Stieler, Chairman of the Executive Board of HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft, Essenspoke on the topic of "The way out of traffic jams - resources for the expansion of transport routes".

After studying law at the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and completing his doctorate in 1985, Dr. Frank Stieler initially held various positions at Lurgi AG, including Chief Financial Officer of Lurgi Energie und Umwelt GmbH in 1994 and Chief Executive Officer of Lurgi Bamag GmbH from mid-1997. From 1999 to 2001, Dr. Frank Stieler worked as Senior Vice President for Azurix, a subsidiary of the US energy company Enron, in Houston. At the end of 2001, he moved to Siemens and headed the Industrial Application division under the umbrella of the Power Generation Group. In 2008, Dr. Frank Stieler was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Siemens Oil & Gas Division.
