Dr.-Ing. Carlo Mackrodt

Mr. Dr.-Ing. Carlo Mackrodt is Managing Partner at TRANSEARCH International. He has over 30 years of experience in senior management positions as well as in top management consulting and executive search, specializing in family businesses in the consumer goods, automotive, industrial and technology sectors. His current focus is on the topic of "Leadership in the age of digital disruption".

He began his career as an R&D project manager in the field of materials and processing sciences. Further stations in his career were top management consulting with a focus on restructuring, operations & global sourcing at KEARNEY, board member of the internet start-up DCI AG and, after its IPO, international management positions in the areas of IT, finance, supply chain and production at HENKEL.

Carlo Mackrodt holds a doctorate in engineering with a focus on foundry technology and a degree in business administration. He also completed various postgraduate programs for managers at IMD, INSEAD and Thunderbird University. He grew up in Florence and gained international experience through assignments in the USA, England, Brazil, Italy and Sweden.
