Dr. Herbert Fehrecke joined Freudenberg in 1994 after studying chemistry and completing a doctorate and holding various management positions at VW AG in Canada, the USA and Germany. Since 1996, he has held the position of Managing Director of Freunde Dichtungs- und Schwingungstechnik KG and Managing Director of Freudenberg Dichtungs- und Schwingungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG.
With sales of EUR 4.4 billion and 32,000 employees, the family-owned company Freudenberg is a leading German industrial company. The subsidiary Freudenberg Dichtungs- und Schwingungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG manufactures seals and vibration control components for customers in various industries. The largest customer is the automotive industry.
