Dr. h.c. Rudolf Gröger, President of Munich Business School, will contribute his extensive experience in the field of strategic management in the telecommunications industry to the panel discussion on stress tests.
Dr. h.c. Rudolf Gröger, Born in 1954, from 1996 to 1998 he was Spokesman of the Management Board Germany of Siemens AG Information & Communication Products and SNI AG. From 1999, he worked for Deutsche Telekom AG in Bonn as spokesman for the Information and Communication Systems division until he became Managing Director of T-Systems GmbH in 2001. In the same year, he also took over the management of sales at debis Systemhaus GmbH. From 2001 to 2007, Dr. h.c. Rudolf Gröger was CEO of O2 Germany from 2001 to 2007 and a member of the Management Board of the O2 Group from 2003. In 2006 and 2007, he was a member of the Board of Telefónica O2 Europa plc. At the end of 2006, he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Faculty of Economics at the Technical University of Munich in recognition of his outstanding achievements in corporate management practice, particularly in the combination of technical and business management knowledge in the areas of innovation, strategic corporate management and operational change. Since 2007, Dr. h.c. Rudolf Gröger has been Managing Partner of Gröger Management GmbH since 2007 and also holds the office of President at Munich Business School. He has also been a recipient of the Bavarian Order of Merit since 2005.
