Dr. Georg Kellinghusen

Dr. Georg Kellinghusen was born in Maasleben (Schleswig - Holstein) in 1947 and served 3 years as an officer in the German Armed Forces (Captain of the Reserve). After studying business administration at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU), he earned his doctorate there at the Chair of Auditing. He began his professional career in 1978 at Bertelsmann AG, Gütersloh, where he initially worked as a controller and assistant to the Executive Board and later as a commercial division manager. Dr. Kellinghusen later worked as CEO and / or CFO at Varta, Otelo, Zapf Creation, Alno, Keiper and most recently for Brain until 2017. In 2020, he completed a part-time degree in Philosophy/Politics/Economics (PPW) at the LMU. Dr. Kellinghusen actively contributes his many years of business experience as a supervisory board member, advisory board member and mediator for family-owned companies.
