Daimler AG is also the world's largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles. With its Daimler Financial Services division, Daimler AG offers financing, leasing, fleet management, insurance and innovative mobility services. Its best-known brand is Mercedes-Benz. The largest business segment is the production of mid-range and luxury passenger cars.
Dr. Christine Hohmann-Dennhardt received her doctorate from Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main in 1979 and began her career as a judge at the social courts in Frankfurt am Main, Wiesbaden and Darmstadt in 1981. In 1984 she became Director of the Wiesbaden Social Court and in 1988 Deputy Judge Member of the State Court of Hesse. From 1991 to 1999, Dr. Hohmann-Dennhardt served as Hessian Minister of Justice and Minister of Science and Art. She was then a judge at the Federal Constitutional Court from 1999 to 2011. Dr. Hohmann-Dennhardt has been a member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG since 2011 and in this function is responsible for Integrity and Legal Affairs. The Board of Management division comprises the Legal department and the Compliance organization as well as the Corporate Data Protection, Integrity Management and Corporate Responsibility Management departments throughout the Group.
