Dr. Annette Hamann

Annette Hamann with over 20 years of IT experience, has a broad range of IT skills and in-depth knowledge of business management.

After her Study of mathematics in Göttingen, Annette Hamann completed a two-year program in China, consisting of language training and work experience - including a one-year internship at Handle China. After completing her doctorate, she began her IT career in 1999 as an IT systems analyst at Procter & Gamble in Germany and used them in various regional and global IT positions. at the European headquarters of Procter & Gamble in Switzerland until 2015. She then switched back to Handle as Corporate Vice President IT Process Consulting and Enterprise Architecture in the headquarters in Düsseldorf. She implemented a strategic enterprise architecture and was responsible for global application lifecycle management across all business functions and technologies, covering new areas such as product and industrial IoT, advanced analytics, or cover robotics.  

Annette Hamann has been CIO at Beiersdorf and Managing Director of IT at Beiersdorf Shared Services since May 2020. In addition to modernizing the IT function, she focuses in particular on the digital transformation of the Group.

Annette Hamann is under the Top 100 global CIO in the year 2023.
