Dipl.-Ing. Klaus Westerwell

Mr. Bernd Rimann and Mr. Klaus Westerwell, both Managing Directors of Siepmann Werke GmbH & Co. KG in Warstein-Belecke, will give a presentation entitled "Positioning, consolidation and growth in a medium-sized industrial company" on the topic of "Lean and healthy? Success factors for profitable growth" from the perspective of a medium-sized company facing the challenge of accompanying the strong growth of its customers.

The Siepmann works produce forged parts for plant, machine and vehicle construction in Germany for the European market using state-of-the-art production techniques, as well as components for industrial pipeline construction through its subsidiary Persta Armaturen. With 527 employees, the company generated sales of EUR 100 million in 2006. The company is based in Warstein-Belecke in the Sauerland region.

Mr. Dipl.-Volkswirt, MBA Bernd Rimannborn on July 12, 1966 in Hamburg, studied economics at the University of Göttingen and completed an MBA at the Allfinanz Akademie Hamburg and the University of Wales.

Since 2002, Mr. Rimann has been Managing Director of Siepmann-Werke GmbH & Co. KG. Previously, he was a member of the Executive Board and Commercial Director of the Linde AG Refrigeration and Equipment Technology Plant Group. Until 1996, he headed the Finance and Controlling department of Sulzer Medica Vascutec GmbH, a company in the medical technology sector. In 1994/95, Mr. Rimann worked as head of commercial administration at Baugesellschaft Friedrich Voß GmbH. Mr. Rimann began his professional career in the central controlling department of the service and goods testing company SGS Controll-Co.m.b.H.

Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Klaus Westerwellborn on December 19, 1957 in Altena, studied mechanical engineering, specializing in production technology.

Mr. Westerwell has been working at Siepmann-Werke in Warstein since 1989. He has held various technical management positions within the forging division. In 2001, he was appointed General Manager of the Persta steel fittings division of the Siepmann Group. Klaus Westerwell has held the position of Managing Director since January 2004. He is responsible for technology and sales for the entire Siepmann-Werke GmbH & Co. KG. Prior to this, he worked since 1983 in various management positions in the field of technology at Kracht-Hydraulik GmbH & Co. KG, Werdohl.

In their presentation "Restructuring, consolidation and growth in a medium-sized company", Mr. Rimann and Mr. Westerwell will focus in particular on the question of how Siepmann-Werke has positioned itself after the completion of the restructuring in order to create the best possible conditions for sustainable and profitable growth.
