Andreas Brand, Lord Mayor of the City of Friedrichshafen sheds light on the aspect of foundation companies in his presentation: "Are foundation companies the better companies? Opportunities and risks of foundation companies in a globalized world" the aspect of foundation companies.
Andreas Brand has been Lord Mayor of the large district town of Friedrichshafen since June 2009 and, in this role, also sits on the Supervisory Board of Zeppelin GmbH. The politician, who studied at the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration in Stuttgart and has held various positions in public administration, e.g. as deputy head of the main office in the municipality of Neuhausen auf den Fildern, mayor of the municipality of Weil im Schönbuch and first mayor of the large district town of Böblingen, has thus gained significant influence over a company with over 6,000 employees and a strong international focus with representatives in 190 countries through his office.
At the Munich Management Colloquium, he will explain to participants how he masters this task today and what makes foundation companies "better companies". His conclusions will not only be of great interest to foundation companies, but will also be followed with particular interest by representatives of other types of companies following the current experience of the economic and financial crisis.
The Munich Management Colloquium 2011 provides a platform for a future-oriented discussion of new perspectives for profitable corporate management and organization. There will be an opportunity for dialog and exchange of experiences and insights as well as valuable suggestions.
