At its Spelle site, Krone manufactures modern forage harvesting technology and is characterized by technology and quality leadership. With the BiG X 1100 precision forage harvester (with 1080 hp), Krone currently has the most powerful harvester in the world. The vehicle plant is located in Werlte, where semi-trailers, container chassis, swap systems and motor vehicle bodies are produced. Reducing the energy consumption of vehicles and ensuring that loads are secured in the best possible way - these two topics are the focus of Krone commercial vehicle development. Krone is also one of the market leaders in this segment.
Alfons Veer is Chief Financial Officer of Bernard Krone Holding GmbH & Co. KG and Chairman of the Management Board since 2005. Following his studies in economics, he trained as an association auditor, tax consultant and auditor at the Weser-Ems Cooperative Auditing Association. A. Veer was initially a member of the auditing and tax consultancy firm Knollenborg & Partner in Lingen, before initially working as Chief Financial Officer for Raiffeisen-Hauptgenossenschaft Nord Aktiengesellschaft Hannover and later serving as Chairman of the Management Board for four years. In 2004, he moved to Bernard Krone Holding GmbH & Co. KG, where he has been Chairman of the Management Board since 2005.
